One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

Why not Pitt as a 10th team?

Wait, doesn't that describe your last camping trip?

Has anyone checked on private jet flights between Big 12 HQ and Pittsburgh?
If we disagree on something, it's because you're wrong.

If they think this is true then they believe that wallowing in mediocrity is in the school's best interest and for the life of me I don't understand how this could possibly be believed by those in charge of BYU.

As I look at the first photo, it's clear that there is a nominally mature, deciduous tree directly between the pop-up tent and the parking structure. I am guessing it is most likely an Ash Tree - perhaps an Emerald Ash.

The fully grown Emerald Ash averages 60 feet in width. As this particular Emerald Ash is clearly only nominally mature, I will say it is 23' wide. However, it hangs over the pop-up tent only five or six feet, meaning that the rear of the pop-up tent is, at a minimum, 17 feet from the parking structure. And don't get me started on the front of the pop-up tent.

Your post is clearly contributing to the misinformation and rumor that is so thoroughly wrecking productivity along the Wasatch Front today, and frankly, I expect more out of you.

STOP EXAGGERATING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN POP-UP TENTS, KSL VANS, AND PARKING GARAGES!
My estimate was as the crow flies.

I was thinking the same thing. This would be a step up for Pitt. More money. Better football conference. Everything revolves around football. The Big 12 also has good hoops and Pitt would only strengthen that.

There are no parking structures at Mutual Dell.

You better mean the Eurasian Jackdaw, or a similar sized crow, because if you are talking about a bird the size of the Common Raven, well, it wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near an Emerald Ash (particularly one that isn't fully mature), let along fly over it.
