For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I can’t imagine the retooled SEC is going to allow this B12 the same access as their members.
I still think there really are only 2 ways going forward:
4 power conferences: P12/SEC/B1G/ACC - 16 team conferences 2 auto bids for each conference, 4 at large, guise of amateurism.
SuperSEC: 30-40 best programs in a nationwide conference national champion comes from that pool, all the television money goes there and they become a mini NFL with loose affiliation to an academic institution. Players will be paid like 100k each, won’t be required to go to class, etc. Those not in the SuperSEC will form an amateur league similar to the current NCAA.

I think TCU, Baylor, and BYU should have trophy or something... It could be called the real holy war or the battle for the holy grail!Originally posted by Bo Diddley View Post
Yeah, I was wondering who would be our B12 rival, and TCU was the first team that came to mind."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

One day post announcement and I'm already sick of the PAC-12 vs the new Big XII smack talk. I have a couple of assholes in my life that I unfortunately can't get out of my life for reasons. But the sgit talking strategy is still the same apparently. The Big XII is just G5 now.

Lol. Ignore those clowns. The new B12 is exactly what the P12 would be without USC.Originally posted by USUC View PostOne day post announcement and I'm already sick of the PAC-12 vs the new Big XII smack talk. I expect them to drop a game or two in the PAC 12. That always happens in that conference. Nobody is going undefeated in the PAC. Oregon is a good team though and what they did in the shoe today was impressive.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

There is no doubt that in regards to on field performance, the new Big-XII is certainly as good as the Pac-12. But the biggest argument is the recruiting rankings of the new Big-XII versus the Pac-12. There are 10 Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 40 in recruiting, while there are only 2 from the new Big-XII. And at the top, thePAC-12 is getting blue chips and none in the Big-XII are.
But I agree. Screw them! I'll enjoy the new conference and continue to observe Utah not getting anywhere close to a national championship.
