    Utah is in. Here is the dirt.

    I have a highly placed source within the Ute community. Well placed enough that the information I am about to share is beyond reproach and can be taken to the bank. I was hoping he would share something and he has. Here is the deal.

    As some know there was a conference call among MWC schools this afternoon. Utah participated and at that point gave notice to the MWC that it was ending its association with the conference.

    In furtherance of this, President Young has been in meetings today in Oakland and the deal is done. Utah will announce this tomorrow. Interestingly, this will become effective for the 2011 season for Utah as well as Colorado.

    Beavis, I have seen the top of the mountain, and it is good.

              Whew! Finally, this is what I've been waiting for -- information from a well-placed confidential source. That's what all these other reports have been lacking.
