                        The only reason Oregon is there is because of Nike's money. Believe me, I wanted to rate them lower but I couldn't given their recent success, packed stadium and serious Nike cash flow.
                        Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                            What he is saying is that in the article I posted Utah law says you have to wait 24 hours to approve something of this stature. So Utah can accept tomorrow but the vote can not be official for 24 hours. Its nothing but a formality.

                                No. But they would have to vote. Remember that Colorado met and tried to say that the meeting was not about leaving. But it was, and the press conference only came after approval was received.

                                            I'm sure they have already told Young and/or Hill that if an invite comes, they should take it. What more is there to meet about?
