He is also one of the biggest trolls over on CB. So we came to the conclusion that he is either A) trolling or B) Has had plenty of inside knowledge in the past but does not trust CUF or his fellow ute fans therefore he keeps it close to his chest, which is interesting to say the least since he is shouting this "rumor" from the rooftops. Or C) for the first time in his life someone has trusted him with inside info and the first thing he does is run to CUF and posts a "neener, neener" type post which obviously tells you what type of person he truly is.

Personally I think Utah to the Pac-10 is imminent and it may be announced tomorrow but I could see it dragging out as well.
I think this is certainly a fair point, but I think we'd all be surprised how well connected some people are that never post their connections or inside information. Also, the bulk of the inside info people post comes in the recruiting or player news realm and not really on the admin side. This is more on the admin side of things and for what it is worth, I can vouch for his source as being legit.

I'm still a believe it when I see it, but from the reputation of this source, I believe I'll see it tomorrow. I know UD likes to troll, but he's not on this one.

I was thinking the same thing. Love him or hate him, you have to admit that the man has a gift. And with that superiority complex that you Utes are already sporting there will be no shortage of material to work with.

        (putting this in multiple threads)

So I talked to my source again and here are some additional details.

The USC trustees met today. It was announced in that meeting that the member institutions of the Pac 10 had approved an offer being made to Utah so long as Utah agreed to meet certain requirements such as increasing stadium size. He wasn't clear on what else there was.

At this point the details are being hashed out between Pac 10 officials and Chris Hill and Michael Young working together. It is anticipated that these terms will then be approved by the Utah board of trustees and a committee of the Pac 10 at which point the official offer will be extended. The trustees at USC were told that the Utah trustees would vote on the official offer as soon as tonight but not later than tomorrow. An announcement will be made once that has occurred.

I'll let everyone know if I hear anything else.

I finally have some inside information, and I am ready to make a bold prediction: I will be hearing "Victory at Sea" soon. Possibly tomorrow, but definately on Thursday.

I have every reason to trust my sources on this.

Interesting. WSU's stadium is 35,000 and Oregon St.'s is right around what Utah's is. Not that I'm complaining, I just think it is interesting that that would be a requirement.

I was just going to post the same thing. If they are making that demand to Utah, is the same demand being made to WAZZU? I would love to see RES have the south endzone torn out and made into a complete bowl. That will look pretty dope when it happens. I hope they can fill it up.

It should be a fairly inexpensive revamp, since they can simply take 10,000 seats from the Huntsman Center.

why do they insist on more empty seats?

Well done. I suppose we should thank UtahDan for bringing up the stadium expansion thing so we could delve into attendance smack. As pathetic as it is, it's what we've got right now. Oh yeah and one other thing ...
