Utah has finished 3rd or worse in the MWC four of the last five seasons. Even during the 2002 to 2005 down years, BYU never did that poorly.

I thought about this awhile back. I can still recall the exhilaration of sitting in the Superdome as we ran all over Alabama during the first quarter. The memory of that game will be cherished and recalled for a long time. Not when talking smack, not when discussing things casually, but when i am talkign with my wife, brother and SIL. I will gladly take that experience even every 10 years in exchange for finishing 3rd in other years(as long as we field a competitive team each year).

Perhaps I should have worded it this way: "I don't agree with your assessment. It seems to me that you are taking into account only a couple of seasons from the past decade. Utah' s record looks amazing if you only look at the 2004 and 2008 seasons." There are a lot of 4 and 5 loss seasons and a couple of "weenie bowls" you might want to account for.
