Do you guys deny that Utah's commits are a lot better this year than ever before? What do you think is happening at Boise? Peterson decided to take the recruiting year off?

Right. His replacement (Shreve, no. 20) is a higher rated pro style qb. Also, Utah already has a strong dual threat committed this year.

Jarid, I just want to publically thank you for sticking to your CUF committment. I wasn't sure if you'd stick around when I recruited you here, but I'm glad you held firm on your committment despite pressure from bigger boards trying to poach you away like BulldogsandRebels Forum or HornedFrogsandMustangs Board.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Not a good choice, given the current turmoil and instability in the program.

You will notice that four of the top 40 are headed to Austin. Cha-ching!

Are you making this up as you go? For one thing the recruiting season is far from over.

I will hold off my feelings for the class until signing day. I think that we will have a sense of where we are at that time. I think we will still have an excellent class of talent that the coaches will get to mold over 3-4 years. The tough thing is worrying about what might have been, and I am getting to old to think that way. 10 years ago I might be in the bathroom with a razor blade, but some good therapy has helped me stop worrying about things out of my control.

Note the Ute commit that has stuck is no. 14 dual threat.

It was easy. I know a good place when I see one. CUF has definitely lifted my pro prospects in cyperspace.

Blechen is an interesting get. He hasn't played as much QB this year as HC daddy was working hard to get his son a scholly. When he has played he has been productive, but he has been a monster on defense. Interesting to see how he plays out. He will definitely RS this year, after that, it will be interesting.

Texas can have the flotsam and jetsam of the WR class. SC will continue to snap up the top of the crop. (Why does Texas need 4 new WRs right now?)

I did notice that 3 of the Top 20 overall are going to SC. None to Texas.

And 2 of the top 4 overall are going to SC. None to Texas.

Why is it that the Texas class is ranked #3 and the USC class is ranked #15?
