I can understand if you didn't have the money to attend, NOLA isn't a cheap destination and we're living in pretty tough times. But if you had the means to attend and didn't, you must have just been chickenshit scared of Alabama.
My 12 year old was visiting that week and it had been planned for a long time. It was my only chance to see her at Christmas. Otherwise, I would have sold my last possession to be there if necessary.

I have no problem going to sporting events by myself if I can't find a buddy or family member that can't or won't go.

In fact sometimes I prefer it.

The MWC Tourney in Vegas is a prime example.

I thoroughly enjoy sitting through 4 games on Thurs all day just chilling and watching some fun basketball games. Coming and going as I please without having to worry about anyone else.

Be honest. You thought Utah was going to lose and you didn't want to waste all that money, time and effort for a losing cause. You're among friends. You can tell us.

Don't get me wrong - I was in the Utes-could-pull-this-thing-off-if-they-play-perfectly camp, but I was not scared.

I have a wife, 4 kids and a mortgage. What it out there that can scare me? Besides, I'm a cheapskate. DDD can tell you that, as I got him to pay for lunch after I had invited him.

If I thought that you'd go with me, I would have asked.

I already told everyone that you are a cheapskate, but I did it in invididual private messages to each CUF poster.

My cheapskatedness is public knowledge. I wear it as a badge of honor.
