He already has the job. If I were him, I would have set realistic goals that could be accomplished as soon as next season.

He has a fast plan to restore ND to the NC level....yet he only has 1 QB under scholarship right now...and that QB is injured with a torn ACL.

This guy is toast. He didn't learn from Weis's intro press conference.....when Kelly is fired in 5 years, the blurbs will all include his quote today about getting back to winning National Championships.

The Irish, like any other company looking to rebuild, should be focused on more realistic goals......return to having a winning season, figure out how to compete for a BCS bowl. National titles will come after that. Maybe. If you are really lucky.
