Discount rate where? I will let you know for sure in the morning. I think I am thinking more with my, what I would like to do brain than my, should I brain.

So perhaps I spoke too soon on being done before the basketball game. It looks like none of the golf courses that accept my discount card are opening up the tee boxes before 8:00. However, if we took the first tee time and had nobody in front of us, I'm betting we could finish in 3.5 hours. A couple of the courses are only about 15 minutes from the Orleans.

It would be at either Angel Park (meh) or The Legacy (my preference).

$49 for 18 with a cart. I know that doesn't seem like a discount compared to Utah rates, but during Winter (peak golf season in Vegas) that is a steal of a deal for a non-local. Though I will say, there are more deals available this year to the general public than in years past. So I guess the bad economy has its silver linings after all.

That's cheap. The last time I golfed at Lake Las Vegas the green fees were north of $200.

Definitely, though the course we are golfing (and most Vegas courses, really) doesn't have a 9-hole rate. So you'd still have to pay the $49. But if that's not a deterrent, then you're welcome to join us.

Just because you and your buddy posted career best scores there doesn't mean it's my favorite course. Legacy is better, but there were no tee times available for the weekend you were here.

So it looks like byu71 will not be able to make it. That means there is an open spot (and maybe two, depending on what ER decides) in the foursome. Anyone who is interested, let me know. As of now I have a foursome reserved, but with my discount card, I have to call and notify them 24 hours in advance if we're going to have less than that. Otherwise, I'm stuck paying for the unused slots.

Everyone is bailing on the one day trip. Can't say that I blame people. It'll be a long day. My car is wide open if anyone wants to leave early Tuesday and drive back to the SLC area right after the game. I have three seats in my car available. Getting tickets down there should be fairly easy and inexpensive.
