I'm guessing that he knew and didn't care about the difference between the BCS players and non-BCS players when he bolted from Utah to Florida, as Urban is all about Urban. He's a helluva coach, but lacks integrity, as do most BCS coaches.

Urban is running a classy program down there in Gainesville. I am really surprised he isn't getting beat up in the media for all the arrests and off the field problems that they have had. It seems like every other month a member of the Florida Gators is getting arrested for something.

No offense to anyone, but these are the least interesting discussions in sports. Does anyone care about the moral integrity of an athlete? When you watch a guy sack a QB or 360 dunk or stop an approach shot 4' from the hole, do you say yeah but does he go to church on Sundays? does he give money to the poor? does he abstain from alcohol and drugs? does he have a perfect brightness of hope?

well, it would have been hard for them to explore that story with the headline being Florida fielding the second coming of Christ for the last three years. I wonder if in the next couple of years you'll see more of a focus on this stuff.

I could care less if he goes to church on Sunday, I could care less if he is giving money to the poor. I do think that if individuals are putting lives in danger because of careless and selfish acts like driving drunk or kicking the crap our of people at a bar shouldn't be given the opportunity to be playing sports and making millions from it.

I disagree with you. I think there are a lot of interesting storylines you can explore with these stories, among them being whether we *should* be willing to violent crimes from these guys so long as they can sack a QB or dunk the ball.
