I did a quick check, and they don't sell beer at Arizona Stadium and didn't sell it at Sun Devil Stadium prior to 1992 (when the incidents in this article were have to taken place). It seems some people will go to great lengths to pour beer on the Hall clan."In conclusion, let me give a shout-out to dirty sex. What a great thing it is" - Northwestcoug

This is a great find. The smoking gun. They've had beer spilled on them at by Arizona fans and Utah fans? What a coincidence. The guy's a liar.Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View Post
Also, his grandpa isn't Whizzer White. Whizzer White played at Colorado and was a Supreme Court justice.

What is it about Max's family that makes people want to piss into their empty concessions cups and chuck it at them? Naturally the Halls always have an innocent victim story where they were just sitting there minding their own business when all of a sudden for no reason at all and under no provocation whatsoever everyone around them started persecuting them. What uncanny poor luck they have.

This is like when Brodie found Lucky Mack's diary entry describing how JS Sr. told her he had a dream about a tree of life and a spacious building.Originally posted by Fiyero View PostWhat is it about Max's family that makes people want to piss into their empty concessions cups and chuck it at them? Also, I was thinking, "Cool, Max Hall's grandpa was Justice Whizzer White. I wonder why they didn't mention he was a Supreme Court Justice in addition to a star college player?" Then come to find out, his grand dad isn't THE Whizzer White, and he's a lot younger than THE Whizzer White. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Cliche. Get out of here.Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostThe more miserable you show yourselves to be, the more delighted I am. Thank you.
I guarantee you the outcome of Utah-BYU games mean a lot more to you than they do to me (except in the years when the Utes are 11-0).
If you are not philosophical enough to have a chuckle at MRD's find I feel sorry for you. Who would have thought? This is uncanny. If anyone who could cared about Max Hall this would destroy him.
I can only guess how much fun 3D would have with this if the shoe were on the other foot. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Pardon me. I'll leave you to your bitching and moaning. I'll enjoy it in silence for now, but I reserve my right to return and rub your sniveling face in it when I please.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostCliche. Get out of here.

It's very common to describe poor fan behavior by saying that they "throw beer." It sounds like "jeer" and is useful hyperbole to demonstrate the low-levels to which a fan base can stoop. To all of you Ute fans taking this literally, I feel sorry for you. You probably think the earth is 6,000 years old and that Samsons hair really gave him superpowers.

I'd be interested to know if anyone on the board has had beer (or any beverage) dumped on them at a road BYU game.
I've only been to about ten BYU road games between football and basketball, but I can't even remember an opposing fan saying anything rude to me at all -- certainly nobody ever physically threatened me or dumped a beverage on me. Of course, I wasn't wearing Hall on my shirt during a blowout at RES.
At TCU 2008 there was some kid who yelled "Joseph Smith was a liar!" at us but that's about the only harassment I can remember.

I don't believe in Sampson, but I believe that as long as someone can keep holding Whittinghams arm up in the air, our team will be victorious.Originally posted by YOhio View PostIt's very common to describe poor fan behavior by saying that they "throw beer." Few people saw the BYU fan that slipped out of the stands and pulled Whitt's arm to his side at the exact moment of Hall's TD pass......

I can tell you are a great lawyer. This reminds me of one of our past presidents. I went to the U of A game in 2006 and it was unbelievable. I can't imagine anywhere or group of fans being worse. I heard so many "Fuck You"s it was comical. What a bunch of assholes. I really wouldn't put anything past that bunch. Next time I head down to one of those games I am going to bring something dead to toss into the student section. Maybe one of their co-eds."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"
