Why in the hell is a senior citizen getting involved with this kind of stuff?
Well I guess life in Daleville with all the Auburn fans was too much to take. This is a really sad story.

All he can hope for now is a tornado and then use the defense that he simply beat God to the punch.

I'm guessing there have been thousands of prayers over the years for a tornado to strike the campus of Auburn University, among other calamities.

I wonder if the given middle names are "Bryant" and "Tide". Reminds me of Ricky Bobby and his sons "Walker" and "Texas Ranger".

My favorite comment from the 10 I read:

This is an inexcusable act and the individual should be flayed.
Is that where they dye your hair red and give you a speech impediment and a New York accent?
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

                  Ode to an Oak

Really? All of this attention about an
Oak tree? You bet! How can anyone not
Love the majesty of a centennial oak,
Looming large above the hustle and bustle

That increasingly dominates our daily lives?
I would like to take this moment to
Declare my undying support for large vegetation
Especially those put at risk by drunk rednecks
Everything in life is an approximation.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
