Playing #1 ranked teams usually sells more tickets. That's just good business. It is very telling that for their national ticket campaign, they choose to go completely with SC and show virtually zero Oregon.

I think the Beavers consider the Ducks to be a worthy in-state rival. Beyond that, not sure it is all that important to them.
