My family's down from SLC for Thanksgiving. I'm hoping they'll be sick of us by Saturday so I won't feel obligated to stay down here. If they leave, I'd be up for an up-and-back trip on Saturday if anyone's going. I'm looking at you JIC...don't worry, I'll keep my mouth shut on the way home if you'll cover gas. falafel/DH--you guys going up?

I am on call for OB the whole weekend. We will probably have a game party so if you are not able to get to the game, you are more than welcome. There were plenty of BYU fans to our party last year so you will have some crying buddies if things don't go well.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostMy family's down from SLC for Thanksgiving. I will be watching from my couch in Virginia.
I like the name "Holy War," it beats the hell out of "Deseret First Duel"."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I'll be up the entire weekend at my in-laws for TG. Otherwise, I'd be all about an up-and-back roadie.Originally posted by ERCougar View Postfalafel/DH--you guys going up?

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I would greatly appreciate a face value ticket or two. I'll be in town and would love to see the game, but the diminished earning potential my inferior education has left me with makes it hard for me to afford much more than face. Maybe I'm getting old, but there was a clear moment when I made a decision during the BYU-UNLV game in 2007 as I was shivering cold in the top row of the endzone seating (tickets courtesy of my cousin on CB) of a converted high school stadium on a dirt parking lot that the "atmosphere" of attending a game can only carry me so far any more, that it was stupid for me to spend a full day travelling to and from a game only to miss the entire thing.Originally posted by DU Ute View PostI'd be grateful for anything
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I'm not knocking end zone seats. Ok...maybe I am, but in doing so, I'm knocking my pansiness as a fan for no longer being willing to attend a game just to be there. FTR, I grew up watching every game in section 149.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostI am in the south end zone as well.
