As a head coach, how much film is he supposed to watch? How much film do you think LaVell (aka The Master Delegator) watched?

Lavell looks like he knew how to delegate. Very effectively. He seems more like a father to the guys and surrounded himself with very energetic and knowledgeable asst. coaches.

I have no idea how much film Lavell watched and don't care. This is a completely different landscape today. Coaches are putting in way more hours than was required in Lavell's day and time.

The good, young head coaches are obsessed with winning and hate to lose. I wonder where Bronco fits on that spectrum.

World class facilities and plenty of money are a good start. BYU has been decent enough in football for long enough to be able to recruit better. Lack of talent is a coaching problem. If talent is the problem, coaches need to recruit better talent.

I don't buy the honor code bullshit. Either remove it or stop using it as a crutch. They can't have it both ways.

Hasn't Bronco said they only recruit 35 players each year and he prefers they recruit him. With that philosophy, you get what you get.

I would be happy with having 2 corners with D-1 talent. There have been maybe two in my lifetime. I want two every year.
