TCU lengthens gap between themselves and BSU.

Last week TCU was .7890 to BSU's .7752. This week it is TCU .8008 to BSU's .7863. Texas makes the jump past Alabama also.

Iowa, Cincinnati, and TCU are all huge LSU fans this week. If the Tigers beat Alabama, and the winner of the SEC West (LSU if they finish 11-1; Alabama if Arkansas or Ole Miss upsets LSU) beats Florida in the SECCG, that opens up a spot in the BCS title game (assuming Texas wins out).

TCU fell from 4th to 6th in the computer average. Looks like Mike Sanford had the last laugh after all. Was he holding up a Strength of Schedule and taunting Gary Patterson?

I don't care what the computers say. The computers obviously don't watch the worst football conference in football. I would prefer a Big East team play for the championship as opposed to some lame team from the Little 10.

I was talking with a friend at church today and he was whining about Oregon being left out of the BCS discussion. I said "We are going to get to play Iowa, IOWA, in the Rose Bowl. Win by 30 plus, finish ranked 2-4 in the final poll, return 18 starters and be preseason 1-5 next year." That changed his out look. Go Hawkeyes!

The chances of Utah going to a bcs game without boise st. losing is next to nil. It would have to mean the fiesta bowl or Sugar choosing Utah over a pac-10 or big -10 team which wont happen.

My projections are
Texas - Florida MNC
Iowa - Oregon Rose Bowl
Bama - Cincy Sugar Bowl
Penn St - GA Tech Orange Bowl
USC - TCU Fiesta Bowl

Sugar Selects bama

I wonder if Orange or Fiesta would work out some kind of deal with each other, trade future picks?, to get a Bama/USC matchup. Seems like that would be "better" for the BCS. That would be a game with national attention.

I hope you are wrong. The last thing I want to see is 2 little 10 teams playing in BCS games again. I hope that the Orange would take Boise St. over a Little 10 team.

Sugar Selects bama

With all of the excuses they gave after last year's game about not being motivated, not caring, not wanting to be there, and (best of all) Nick Saban blaming the fans, it would be awesome if the BCS bowls bypassed them altogether.
