Despite what Ohio St fans were saying last week after the loss, Tressel is not in hot water. You simply don't fire a coach who has one a NC, four straight conference titles (still very much in contention for his fifth straight) and has gone to 4 straight BCS Bowl games.

Ohio State fans need to pull their heads out. The worst thing Tressel has done was recruited a QB (and kept him at QB) who was supposed to be the next Vince Young, but instead can't throw the ball in the ocean.

If Patterson keeps winning I don't know how TCU could ever convince the guy to not jump ship should a bigger program come along. I'd be curious to know if he's been given any offers over the past few years and if so by who.

Who wouldn't have left Utah for Florida? Clearly Urban made a good move.
It makes me laugh that you think I'm one of those who cried about Meyer leaving. But it does explain your cute post after I mentioned that KW isn't leaving Utah.

In the future, you really should know what you're talking about when you post about me.

I think Patterson's days there are numbered too. He has done a very nice job.

I agree that Kyle has built the program to be playing at the level it's at. But just for you're information, Brian Johnson was on the '04 roster, as were a few other players.

That's about all I can say to that.
              You could just say this:

As a true freshman in 2004, Johnson saw action in ten games as back-up to Heisman Trophy finalist Alex Smith. He passed for a touchdown and ran for another, and compiled a 129.7 passer rating.[1]

This sounds very classy towards Urban. I am sure he would feel very flattered by your assessment and would not hesitate to invite you to sit down with him for a nice snifter of brandy.

Yeah. That is one thing I learned on my roadie to the Shoe. tOSU fans are pretty manic.

A coach that has won a NC in the past 5 or so years AND keeps winning conference championships....well....you don't really fire those guys. You give them extensions and realize that even the greatest programs can't win it all every year.

It's ok that you were wrong, SU. I still like you.

Edit: According to wiki, as posted by donut hole, Johnson did play. But then, is wiki considered a valid source?

They do to SeattleUte. He still thinks the Utes were the BCS champs last year.

I said they finished no. 1 in the BCS computer poll last year. They did.
