With jorganson, denney and so'oto all seniors I'm wondering if Afutiti will be on the team for one year. Additionally, any chance David Hola gets a second year after not playing, or is he done?

I think So'oto is pretty much guaranteed another year of elgibility. Afuititi is still in school so there is hope he could get elgible. Tevita Hola did not play so if he continues to improve I am sure Bronco will forgive him for whatever sins of his that precluded him from getting a redshirt last year. Putnam will be back and my guess is one of the true freshman will play quite a bit at DE next year as well. My prediction is Tayo Fabulije.

Who will be the linebackers. Pendleton and Ogletree I am OK with. Do any RM's come back in January. Is Stout good enough to start given Bronco's history of making Fr. wait.

So'oto will be back but I don't think Hola had a redshirt from what I was told. I am pretty sure he is gone.

You have Fuga and I think the player who blocked the UCLA field goal will be back.

I'm wondering if Van Noy will be good enough to get some good playing time too.

Tyler Beck will be a good ILB for BYU. He is back in January. Austin Jorgenson also returns in January and he will be good as well at OLB. Aveni Weing Lei or Leing Wei, shit they all look the same anyhow, should be on campus in January as well. I doubt Stout plays much as a true freshman, probably just on special teams. But I think Van Noy will play a lot at WOLB. My guess is the 8 LBs BYU plays next year are: Atkinson, Beck, Ogletree and Weing Lei at ILB and Pendleton, Van Noy, Jorgenson and Nelson at OLB. Next year the talent at LB starts to look more like the talent BYU had at LB in '06 and '07 across the board and it is likely to be that way for some time. I think the best ILB wil be Beck and Ogletree, but there are questions with respect to what type of shape Beck will be in - despite KatyLied promises that he is likely to be an AA next year! It wouldn't surprise me if Nelson and Pendleton are the starters at OLB.

Every time I see Van Noy I think to myself that he needs to put on some weight if he is going to play next year. The kid looks like he isn't doing much in the weight room right now.

I thought Ethan Manamamuleauma was as good as a freshman as RT was back in 2006. He should be solid, but not durable next year. I also think Tuni Kanuch is the best interior DL BYU has recruited since Ethan. Between Fuga, EM and Kanuch BYU will be pretty good at NT next year.

Maybee he needs to more Fremont County, Idaho and find that patented St. Anthonly "pipe moving" workout that worked so well for Jason Buck.

Stop hanging out in Washington with a QB that wears a skirt and get his ass to God's country. But some meat on them bones.

Yeah I haven't seen Van Noy other than his high school promo videos. If he's anything like those videos, he'll be good all four years. I do wonder how he'll be though after sitting out a full year of football.

I was very impressed by his high school film. He is a great athlete which is what that D needs. Just from seeing the kid on the sidelines and around the team lately, IMO he needs to add some bulk to be effective at this level.
