Yes. I didn't realize it was Eric Mangini who made Favre throw 22 INTs last year.

Bernard Berrian was actually better receiving from Kyle Orton and Tavaris Jackson than he was this year with Favre.

No doubt about it, Rice had a breakout year. Favre deserves much of the credit for that.

2, and he also lost a fumble. Which means Favre accounted for 3 of the Vikings 5 turnovers.

    2. See above.

IMHO Favre's fumble was on AP. He closed his arms before Favre could get the ball there. He threw 2 ints. Shit happens.

Especially when Favre is your team's QB.

I don't think getting to the NFC championship game is exactly shit. Favre had a great year. The Saints were a better team. The Saints have forced turnovers all season long. Rather then berate Favre for having a good year why not recognize the Saints ability to create turnovers in every big game that that have played.

Only the Jets forced more turnovers in the post season than NO. During the regular season NO was number 2 in forcing turnovers right behind Green Bay.

I heard a bit of Favre's presser tonight. I had to laugh when he said "I took one day off in 20 years--well, a day and a half." I guess he doesn't count all the mini camps and training camps he took off over the last decade.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Bitching about ESPN & Favre is passe, but still, do we really need ticker updates on the injury status of a QB for a 6-9 team when there's nothing (individiual or team) on the line?
