But Nog is someone who went the distance with Fedor. Not once, but twice! That is unreal.
The Nog that went the distance with Fedor is not the same Nog that fought Mir. Nor is it the same Fedor those fights were 5 and 6 years ago. Nogueira is past his prime now.

Yeah that is a huge point. No one probably knows what his health really is but him and his doc, but perhaps he could have fought before and was just being super cautious so that he is 100% now. Guess we'll see.

True. You think Nog is past his prime? He's still pretty young. He just looks old. And for someone with his resume, he doesn't have a ton of professional fights. Though I am sure he has a ton of other, non-sanctioned bouts.

I truly believe Mir is the best. But I may be crazy. Lesnar is one huge dude and a freak athletically. It really is a toss up and with Heavies, it only take one blow and night night.

I am going to miss out on my fly fishing clubs annual poker tournament to watch this. I think we are going to watch it at the_ticks house. For anyone wanting to watch w/out paying for the PPV, you can usually find the fight live on http://www.mmachump.com/watch-mma-online/mma-tv/ or you can download TVU player at www.tvunetworks.com and watch it on MMA-TV channel 61886. Both are free.

I will be cheering for Lesnar and GSP. How could I cheer against someone who shut BJ Penn's big whore mouth? Now if he could just fight the Diaz brothers...

Anyone watch the countdown show? I am even more pumped after watching that. Dont forget to watch the weigh ins today for those of you that have Directv its on the 101.

I am curious to see what weight THiago Alves comes in at, he has had a really hard time making 170 in his last few fights.

I watched the countdown show on tuesday, was it the same? Either way, I want Hendo to beat the shit out of Bisbing.

What time is the weigh in?

Yeah me too. Three great, great fights. Alves should give GSP a good test. But can anyone remember the last time there was this much hype and anticipation over a heavyweight fight? The only way this would get bigger is if somehow they lure Fedor in to fight the winner. But I love watching Mir and Lesnar talk trash. Lesnar is a showman which adds to it. The longer that fight goes, the more I like Mir, but Lesnar could finish it early if he stick to his plan, is patient and doesn't do anything stupid like last time. Watching the replay of their first fight, if Mir doesn't tuck his chin and move his head better he might be looking for it in the 10th row.

Mir and Lesnar are both pretty funny.

That was must see TV for any MMA fan when Lesnar and Mir broke down that fight. I loved Mir throwing out technical terms and saying "Dont worry Brock I will tell you what those mean later."

Then Lesnar firing back with "Did he come up with all of this on his own?" I also love how he calls him "Frank Merr"

Or when Mir grabs Lesnar's leg and Lesnar says "here comes the big Christmas present." Awesome.
