    That would make more sense.

And there aren't any of those guys available here. So you take a guy who can back up Williams, and, play alongside him in certain sets. If you could get Thabeet here, yeah you'd take him. But he isn't available.

It's the same reason New Orleans takes Collison at 21.

So you dont go after a Dejuan Blair, or a Sam Young?

I have a feeling with Collison going right after Maynor, Jazz fans are going to have Tony Parker-Raul Lopez flashbacks.

Thabeet. Best shot blocker to come out of college in years.

Even if all that is left is under sized big men, try and build some depth, if Boozer opts out and you end up with Memo and Millsap as your starting C and PF, who is your first big man off the bench? Even a 6'6 guy that can bang like Blair or Young is an upgrade over who they have now. Instead you get a guy that is going to have 40 DNP CDs and play 7 minutes a game when he does get in.

The Jazz already have enough undersized 4s. It says to me Utah isn't letting 'Sap walk. Between Blair and Sap, I'd rather have Sap.

Sam Young would have been an acceptable choice, but I think getting a back up point was a better need than another wing that doesn't have a great outside shot.

I'm pretty sure the Tony Parker-Raul Lopez flashbacks ended when Deron was drafted. As for Blair, he's Millsap lite. Sam Young? Out of the league in 4 years.

BJ Mullins - I'm not sure you can have enough white seven foot centers out of OSU.

It doesn't matter. As long as Sloan is the coach, Blake Griffin would get 40 DNP CDs and only see spot minutes anyways.

Koufus is better than either Blair or Young.

Blair had bad knees and is overweight. Bad Combo. They already have a center from The Ohio State, and he's better than the one in this year's draft.

I think he makes more sense than a back PG for Deron.

Portland lands Victor Claver from Spain...won't be in the U.S. says former Lobo coach Fran Fracila.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
