You can't win. Just like I can't win when I said I wasn't impressed with Andrew Luck. You have to take your medicine and move on. Even the so called experts are wrong.

I was interested in Locker because BYU played him in 2008 and was going to play Washington again in 2010 and it was unclear whether he was going to be there or not. He was athletic, big, had a strong arm but was inaccurate. I had no idea if he was going to be good in the NFL. I started up a random thread and HFN's OCD, which continues to this day apparently, flared up.

Aside from all of that Locker, ended up being around a 50th percentile first round QB with a 10th percentile injury track record. His cumulative passer rating and TD to Int ratio is similar to that of Sam Bradford's. Those stats were much better than the likes of Mark Sanchez, Blaine Gabbert, Josh Freeman, etc. Half the guys taken in the first round are busts. 3/4s of the teams in the league have picked a QB bust in the first round in the last 20 years. They're all hoping to end up with a guy like Flacco, Favre or Roethlisberger who were unknowns coming out of college. Not every prospect is Luck, Newton, Mariotta or Rodgers, and even with Newton and Rodgers there was some uncertainty, especially for Rodgers because of David Carr, Joey Harrington and Kyle Boller.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I tried to tell him that above, everyone says stupid shit sometimes. Part of hanging with friends is they destroy you for it when you do. I've said more than my share, thankfully just not about Jake Locker being good.

Wait, so were you saying Sark's Savior was a good QB or just that he'd be a draft pick. Pick an argument and stick to it.

Also there is plenty of material to needle me about with Joey Harrington, see I'm helping you because I know you are busy remodeling your house to fit that bigger tv.

Chip continues his Duck roster management. I think DFo is a good player, but nothing like giving the finger to the fan base right from the get go. I love Chip, I wish he'd come back to Eugene.

Gruden was talking about Shaq Lawson right after he was drafted and said, "He needs to learn how to play on two feet, which he did at Clemson," huh?

Browns trying to become Baylor, strong move. Do they also get to play in the weakest division?

Wow. In addition to the bong video Tunsil's instagram posted some screen shots of a text conversation between him and a coach asking for more money for his rent and his mom's utility bill. Then in his draft press conference when asked about it he admitted to taking money from a coach at Ole Miss.

I said he was going to be a first round draft pick and I was right.

Will Fuller will be the offensive ROY. Best player in the draft.

ESPN is saying assistant AD. That seems worse to me than a coach who is with the kid day in and day out and probably has a deep relationship with both the player and parent. That a player would think to ask an assistant AD for improper benefits is alarming. The fact that he recieved the funds is damning. Not sure how they avoid serious penalty on this. But this is the SEC so they'll probably be forced to forfeit games from 1991 and the tennis team will be shut down.
