  • 2016 NFL Season

The draft is tonight and the Eagles and Rams made trades that could cripple their franchises if the QBs don't pan out. I would have stayed put and picked some other prospect in the second round.

The thing with the Raiders moving to Las Vegas is picking up steam. A lot of the money is already pledged for the stadium and Davis appears like he wants to make the move.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Yeah, I give it a less than 5% chance of happening.

That's already been litigated by Mark's dad. When push comes to shove, he can move to Vegas.

Feels to me like 1% interest in Vegas, 99% interest in leveraging the ability to relocate into a new O-Town stadium. As much as I would love an NFL team in town, I wouldn't want a dollar of public funds to go toward a stadium.

When was the last time any big new stadium was built with no public funds? I'm asking seriously, I don't know. Was Jerry Land in Dallas built using private money?

Goff was almost as successful as The Mesiah of Montlake, no reason to think the NFL will be any different. Right CMBF? http://www.cougarstadium.com/showthr...ghlight=Locker

It is sad that link was only as valuable as I thought it would be when it was originally posted.

              Sorry Rams fans.

What's your argument here, that Jake Locker wasn't a first round pick? Because he, in fact, ended up being a first round pick.

That he sucked in college, was an awful pick and you bought the hype. We all say stupid shit, the fun part is getting to needle your friends when they do.

Does he even post anymore? Surfah was buying the hype because SC Pete was selling it and Surf wanted to make sure Triplet knew he was supportive.

That thread really is a gem, CMBF kept his Locker defense going by posting a link to a game where Luck played badly, then Junkie proclaimed Luck didn't have starter potential. Two swishes in that thread, me comparing Locker to Jason Thomas and saying anyone who watched the P10 knew that and Donut saying I'd be able to bump that thread for years!!

Stupid shit like he would be a first round draft pick? Again, he was the eighth overall pick. Get over it.

So, are you suggesting that your opinion in that thread was that Locker would be a first round pick but a terrible NFL player?
