  • No one outside of China or the most purple-tinted Lakers fan would ever take Kobe over LBJ in any situation. I love Timmy D (one of my all-time favorite players). If I only have 1 player to pick, to start my team, I take 18YO Lebron over 21(?) Duncan. His versatility is unparalleled in the 35+ years I've been an NBA fan (not saying he is better than Mike, but he is more versatile).

So Kobe has the killer instinct to know when to close out games but not the ability to hit clutch shots and actually do it.

      Got it.

Karl Malone's size with guard skills. Yea, I'd say he's versatile.

i wonder if killer instinct is something that would cause a guy to be the all time scoring leader in elimination games?
          I'm like LeBron James.

1972 Miami Dolphins went undefeated and won the Super Bowl so I'm not sure how the Patriots could break the regular season W-L record...

                • How is everyone talking about great players while ignoring the greatest? If you don't think Larry Bird was the greatest player ever, you're a damn Commie.

Miami played a 14 game regular season schedule in 1972. New England played a 16 game regular season schedule in 2006.

Miami played less games. It wasn't a 16 game regular season then.

only 14 regular season games in 1972. Pats were 16-0

                            • Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2nd round pick go from Chicago to New York for Jerian Grant, Robin Lopez, and Jose Calderon.

                              WTF.
