They've had a couple of hiccup games, but they have played smart ball most of the time. They have embarrassed GS twice, and won a close third. Very impressive.
And ultimately, probably mostly due to what happened during the regular season, people are underestimating how great OKC really is. OKC would go up against just about any team in NBA history and have 2 out of the best 3 guys in the series. Having 2 of the best players in a given series might be the single most important factor when it comes to winning a series. They also have great length and athleticism. They have three big guys who are not stiffs, who have legit talent and athleticism. They have a coach, who while a rookie coach in the NBA is dialed in and has been very, very, good. GSW is in an incredible team, but they have run into a juggernaut that looks unstoppable.

          • Yep. And that coach doesn't seem so rookie anymore. He's made some great adjustments in this series.

            • Just to be clear, OKC who hasn't won anything (in fact has less success than the Malone/Stockton Jazz thus far) matches up favorably with any team in NBA history and would have 2 of the best 3 players on the court in any given series against historic champions? I'm guessing at least you might not say that's true vs. the 2012 Heat? Or has hyperbole already overtaken their own history?

Oh, you're just jealous that the team from Seattle is winning.

In my opinion, both Westbrook and Durant today are better than Wade on that 2012 Miami team. Yes, 27 year old Westbrook is better than 23 year old Westbrook and 27 year old Durant is better than 23 year old Durant.

                      • I can't believe either OKC or Cleveland is going to win the championship, probably OKC. I'm still trying to figure out how Toronto won 55 games or so and how they've beaten Cleveland twice. Do they have a single all-star on the team?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

The Raptors have exactly twice as many 2016 All Stars as the Cavs. Maybe that is how?

Yes, the Raptors lead the league in Yao Ming all stars. All the Canadians are going cougarboard on the all star voting.

Right, two of the top 15 scorers in the league probably don't deserve to be All-Stars. Remind me how many times Yao was a top 15 scorer?
