Who's Boston picking at #3? I think Buddy Hield will end up being a pretty good player.

So the Thunder trade Ibaka and get Oladipo and the rights to Sabonis II from Orlando. Why does Orlando make that trade? Sabonis is going to be a solid guy to rotate in at the 4 and 5 and Olidapo is a really good player.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

You gotta think the Bulls don't believe Rose will ever be healthy and/or the same guy he was when healthy a few years ago.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostDerrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2nd round pick go from Chicago to New York for Jerian Grant, Robin Lopez, and Jose Calderon.

It makes no sense from Orlando's side. Oladipo will be by far the Thunder's best 2 guard and is in fact one of the better ones in the league overall. Then Ilyasova might start along with Adams and Durant at the front court, but will share a ton of minutes with Kanter and Sabonis. Ibaka was nonexistent in the Golden State series and they still should have won. Now they substantially updated the 2 and have more depth at the 4 and 5.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostOKC fleeced Orlando tonight.
Oladipo, ilyasova, and sabonis for ibaka.
Wow.

I don't see why Kevin Durant would leave OKC at this point. He gets more money in OKC and I think the other parts of that team are better than Golden State at this point.
I looked up news on Kevin Durant and this is the first thing that shows up:

So, Jackson thinks that landing Rose will help entice Durant? LOL.Last edited by Color Me Badd Fan; 06-23-2016, 11:13 PM.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Boston lands Al Horford. It creates a slight possibility that they can land Durant. I'm not sure if Durant would want to play with Isaiah Thomas, but it's probably a better option than playing with Curry.
Of course, I think the whole thing is for naught unless the teams are trying to set themselves up for next year. Durant is most likely going to sign a one year deal with OKC.
The best place for Durant to go would be San Antonio. I always get the same feeling with Durant and Westbrook that I got with Miami when they had LeBron and Wade. Those Miami teams would have probably won those two championships without Wade and with just LeBron. Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard are great players that don't always need the ball. And given Kawhi's defensive versatility and Durant's offensive versatility, I figure those guys would still be effective together.Part of it is based on academic grounds. I see you are a student of SMR's posts. If KD goes to the Warriors they might win 75+ games next year and instead of Harrison Barnes throwing up those wide open shots for bricks in games 5-7, something tells me they might have won this year if that was the case.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostI don't see why Kevin Durant would leave OKC at this point. You seem pretty confident that Kevin Durant will sign with the Warriors, you should put some money down on it.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostI see you are a student of SMR's posts. LeBron is free agent right now too, think of all the games they can win with him!
The Warriors already scored more points than anyone in the league, maybe Durant means they get a couple more points on average, there only so many shots to go around and they're already hitting a high percentage. They got down 3-1 in one series and then dropped a 3-1 lead in another series. I don't think Curry is going to continue on like he has the last couple years. His body will break down like it used to. Without Klay Thompson having an all-time game in Game 6, OKC wins that series in 6. We saw what happened to them in the Finals where Curry was obviously worn down midway through and Klay Thompson couldn't hit 10 three-pointers every game.Part of it is based on academic grounds. I wasn't confident, I didn't think it would happen that's why I said "if". Your last sentence of your post explains exactly why KD makes GS seem unstoppable, instead of Barnes or some other average player taking shots it will now be KD. So Steph gets worn down, ok there's now an answer. Or maybe Steph doesn't get as worn down because they now have a third player capable of taking over.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostYou seem pretty confident that Kevin Durant will sign with the Warriors, you should put some money down on it.
