I didn't watch the game, but just looked up Curry's 6th foul out of curiosity. I guess you could argue that in the 4th quarter of an NBA finals game you shouldn't foul a star out on such a play, but I'm one that prefers to see some consistency in officiating. That wasn't what I would call a ticky-tack foul. He got LBJ on the wrist when he went for the steal and then caused him to travel when he got in front of him. The ref probably had no choice unless he wanted to swallow his whistle which would have resulted in LeBron not getting called for a pretty bad traveling violation. In the end Curry should be smarter than putting the ref in that position on a silly throw-away play in the backcourt.
Isn't throwing something at a fan a pretty big deal? Or are they just saying he threw it out of frustration and not "at" someone on purpose. I have no context because I haven't been paying much attention.

Funny that Kerr is bitching about Curry not getting star treatment. If it had been anyone other than Curry or an equivalent superstar throwing a mouthpiece into the stands, that player would be sitting for Game 7.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Fines for both Curry and Kerr. No suspension.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostIsn't throwing something at a fan a pretty big deal? It was definitely a foul. Nobody is talking about why Curry would even gamble in that situation and go for the steal when he already has 5 fouls. Not to mention the technical essentially ended the game.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostI didn't watch the game, but just looked up Curry's 6th foul out of curiosity. The Warriors thought Lebron was buried after game 4 and Klay spit on his grave with his feelings hurt and mans game comments.
Now we have Steph losing his mind, his wife saying the NBA is rigged, Klay leaving the bench before the game ends because his feelings are hurt, Steve Kerr spending 15 minutes complaining about officiating after the game. Stating an MVP should not pick up touch fouls like that. Over and over again he was trying to let the officials know that Steph is an MVP and he deserves preferential treatment. He also complained about the Cavs grabbing and holding as the Warriors try to come off screens.
The Warriors are frustrated and the momentum has shifted. They have the ability to get hot and figure it out for sure. But the Cavs game plan on pick and rolling Curry to death is working.
The best regular season team in NBA history is pushed to 7 games by a team that is starting JR Smith and Richard Jefferson. A team that played Dahntay Jones and the ghost of Mo Williams crucial minutes last night. Kevin Love only played 11 minutes and took 3 shots.
Curry and Klay were fine last night, they combined for 55 points, shot 40% from three, in fact the Warriors as a team shot 40% and made 15 threes. Iggy, Draymond, Livingston and Barnes combined for 16 points on 6-26 shooting. That can't happen.*Banned*

We definitely need to put some regulation around the mouthpiece. Pulling it out while the camera is on, regular foul. Letting it hang from your mouth sideways, technical foul. Playing with it, moving it in and out of your mouth, automatic ejection.Originally posted by Walter Sobchak View PostUdonis Haslem was suspended one playoff game for throwing his mouthpiece 10 years ago...

Lol, look we are all jealous we didn't get mouth guards when we played, don't need to sound petty about it.Originally posted by jay santos View PostWe definitely need to put some regulation around the mouthpiece. True. i guess this is a "back in our day if we wanted a baked potato..." thing. My kid wants to start wearing one for BB. Same thing with tights. That is a fad I wish would fade. There is just no reason when playing pick-up ball 2 hours a week to need lycra on your legs.Originally posted by jay santos View PostTrue. i guess this is a "back in our day if we wanted a baked potato..." thing. Just seems dumb to me. White calf-length tights under shorts may be the least manly piece of clothing a male can own. I can kind of understand pros and college athletes who spend a lot more time on the court wearing them for injury protection, especially those with extra padding on the thigh and knee. But kids and grown men are just copying them to look "cool" on the court, similar to a mouth guard.Originally posted by creekster View PostIs someone making you wear them? I hate Cleveland. Not the Cavs, the city (well mostly the Browns). This is the perfect scenario. Give them hope by getting to game 7 and then snatching it from them. I hope Lebron stays in Cleveland for the rest of his career and they make a couple more Finals only to lose again and again.

My 15-year old grandson wears those, along with knee warmers of some kind. Yes, two layers, but he says it really makes a difference in keeping his knees warm and limber. I still think it looks dorky on anyone.Originally posted by chrisrenrut View PostJust seems dumb to me. White calf-length tights under shorts may be the least manly piece of clothing a male can own.
