I have heard for years and years he was an idiot owner. Now I am hearing it is no surprise he has held racist views.

I guess the NCAAP just didn't do their homework.

Once he is suspended and forced to sell the Clippers, I hope someone will also use this to point out how unequal we are in this country. Just because a guy is filthy rich, why should he be allowed to date a young, very pretty gal 1/3 his age?

Just saw on local news that the NCAAP's L.A. chapter has been planning to give Sterling a lifetime achievement award next month.

Bad people can still do good things.

Bad people who place importance on public perception will do good things to divert attention from their badness.

Here is something that is relevant to this thread: the NAACP was set to honor Donald sterling with a lifetime achievement award next month. Not sure if it has already been mentioned here.

Was, as in past tense, since apparently they have changed their mind.

The NAACP has announced on its official Twitter account that Sterling will not receive the award.

But in light of racist comments attributed to Sterling on a recording that surfaced on the TMZ website, the banquet plans might be changing.
