It's really quite funny this continues to be questioned by you despite overwhelming evidence supporting it. Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

funk is an A's fan too? Figures. To be honest I'm not much of a MLB fan because the last time I really cared about baseball was probably 1985. Back in the day when I was in Kansas City and listening to every game on KMBZ with my Mom. And we never missed Mormon Night at the Royals. So happy for the true Royals fans like my sister in KC."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. To lose to Utah State is horrible." - John White IV

couldn't agree more!Originally posted by Surfah View PostReally good game last night. KC is fun to watch the way they manufacture runs. Stealing bases, bunting, timely hits. Happy for Guthrie.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Sorry funk, it may have a slew of evidence supporting it, but that evidence just doesn't really come from the A's who seem to collapse in September/October.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostIt's really quite funny this continues to be questioned by you despite overwhelming evidence supporting it. This mirrors my last fascination with baseball. My grandfather imbued me with a love of all things KC. I remember watching Len Dawson and Otis Taylor defeat the Vikings in about 1970. I remember discussing the KC Kings when they had this short little point guard. And I remember the one and only World Series championship with Brett and the manager formerly of the Yankees who died not too long thereafter, Dick Howser, I believe was his name. But then, the Royals fell off the map, shortly thereafter. My memory fails me but it seems to follow when Bo Jackson got injured.Originally posted by kccougar View Postfunk is an A's fan too? I have some family left in KC who are enjoying the well-earned victory, but KC fans know victory can soon turn into shameful defeat."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
