Kings are playing great hockey right now. That save by quick in the second was just filthy. Williams, kopitar, Richards, and Doughty are having terrific games. Doughty look every bit a Norris finalist even though he isn't.

Kings worry me more than any other team in the NHL. I felt the same way last year.

I'd just like to point out that I did quite well with my predictions in the first round.

Ducks/Stars. Called the winner, but Ducks won in 6 instead of 7
Kings/Sharks. Called the winner and the number of games (assuming the Kings hold on)
Wild/Avs. Called the winner and the number of games

Bruins/Red Wings. Called the winner and the number of games
Habs/Lightning. Way off on this one.
Pens/Blue Jackets. Called the winner, but Pens won in 6 instead of 7
Rangers/Flyers. Called the winner and the number of games.

7/8 series picked the winner (assuming Kings hold on)
5/8 series also called the correct number of games in the series.

What this teaches us, puck possession is huge. I picked teams largely on puck possession numbers.

Lets see your predictions for the second round. Very impressive on the first round. I'm looking forward to the Bruins Habs series, I hope the Kings advance and I hope the Pens get beat.

Bickell is just a different hockey player in the playoffs. He can be mediocre all year for all I care as long as he keeps this play up in the playoffs.

What a great game 1. I have seen more goals this year after pulling a goalie than I have in a long time.

Exactly, I could care less how he performs in the regular season. He had 4 assists in 59 games this year. He had 2 assists today. 11 goals in 59 games in the regular season and 5 in the postseason already.

I agree with Anson Carter from last night.

When the Kings won in 2012, they had the following:

1. Fantastic goaltending from Quick.
2. Stifling defense.
3. Stars doing their job.

In 2013 we have:

1. Fantastic goaltending from Quick.
2. Stifling defense.

I would love to see the Blackhawks/Kings in the next round. That would be some fantastic hockey.

I would much rather see the Blackhawks/Ducks in the Western conference finals. I would much prefer an easy opponent before facing the Bruins. It will be the Blackhawks/Kings and it will be a great series. Blackhawks won't be able to get the kings out in 5 games this time.
