Courtney Lee is impressing me more than any other reserve in the playoffs. He is having an amazing rookie year and never seems to shy away from the heat.

Coming from Western Kentucky, my new home, I have to support him.

Hey did you know he was a counselor at Bron Bron's summer camp?

They must have mentioned that factoid 20x in the last game.

Another annoyance, the WNBA commercials. Tips off June 6th. Can't wait.

Can tha Cavs pull this one out? Or did they get fat this season off a really anemic Eastern Conference? They have played one good team in these playoffs and are getting their arses handed to them in crunch time.

Lebron apologists, what is going on with this team?
        Not your best effort.

        Consider:

The top 3 scorers on the Cavs outside of LeBron shoot 40%, 46% and 43% respectively for the playoffs. Against Orlando, that dips to 32%, 42% and 38%. LeBron is shooting 53%. The worst thing LeBron could do would be to stop shooting and defer to his teammates.

BTW, despite the crappy shooting by his teammates, "selfish" LeBron had 9 assists in that game you reference.

        By comparison:

The top 3 scorers on the Lakers outside of Kobe shoot 57%, 52% and 54% respectively for the playoffs. This increases to 63%, 52% and 56% for the conference finals. Kobe is shooting 46%. Yet Kobe has no problem jacking up 26 shots with just 10 made FGs and apparently you as a fan have no problem with it either.

        Speaks volumes.

The difference between Kobe and LeBron is that one has viable options on offense while the other mostly doesn't. Gasol is significantly better than any player on the Cavs' roster besides LeBron. The times I got most scared for Boston last year during the Finals was when Gasol was getting touches and shots- he only averaged around 10 shots a game, but shot about 53%.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Two clutch free throws with 0.5 seconds left.

                    The first attempt: MVP
                    The second attempt: MVP

Good point. He only scored 10 points in the 5 minute OT period. He should have scored 13 - if he had, they would have won.

He should have involved his teammates. I predicted Selfish Lebron would shoot 35+ tonight. He only shot 29 this time, so I guess he *might* be getting the message.

He scored 44 points though. Sweet!

Mo Williams guaranteed that they would win the series. Lebron agreed with him. I guess they could still come back and win this thing. It would be a good, exciting series if they did come back.

I wonder how many MVPs guys like Duncan and Kobe would have won playing in the Eastern conference?

Kobe would be sitting at home vehemently demanding a trade after a miserable 45 win season and a loss in the first round if he was in Lebron's position with this awful supporting cast. Duncan wouldn't fare much better.
