Seems like high risk factor to me. I'd be as scared as I was excited. Are NBA players going to take him seriously? Of course, as has been proven mostly every year, the best players win and the coach had minimal impact.

Definitely high risk. WRT coaching hires, I'd rather swing for the fences on that type of hire (Chip Kelly and the Eagles is another example) than hire an experienced guy who has a long history of coaching .500 teams. Personal preference as much as anything.
The Jazz also swung for the fences when they hired Tyrone Corbin. Or not.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
Kings close to landing Greivis Vasquez is a sign amd trade for Tyreke Evans. Robin Lopez going to Portland as part of the deal.
Jimmer has to be on his way out for sure now.

Talk about two franchises who don't know what the hell they're doing. It's a great thing that Stern saved the Pelicans from that horrific trade with the Lakers. What a joke.
