  • Anaheim Angels In The Outfield.

    Starting the thread

Went to the Angels game tonight. Great fun. They took out the BoSox 8-4. I don't think the Halos have the pitching to get very far this year. We will see. Guerrero getting back could be enough to let them contend for the division but I just can't see it. Not yet anyway.

How long are you down here? And did you bring my 2 tablespoons of tequila?
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

2 more glorious days. Tomorrow is the Lakers game at a friend's house in HB. Then Friday I fly home about 6 pm. I did not remember your tequila. For this, I am sorry.

Lackey and Ervin Santana both come back this week. Team them up with Joe Saunders and Jered Weaver and you have a very good staff.

This is true. Forgot about Lackey being out. They need to get rid of this injury plague.

This article got me pumped. Yesterdays win was awesome! Then the Ducks lost, then Lakers. But still,

The Angels spotted the rest of the American League West six weeks. Their starting rotation was in disarray, their bullpen was a disaster, their defense was spotty and their power was nonexistent.

The division had its chance. Nice try.

Lackey pitched here in SLC Tuesday night. It would have been fun to see him.

That would have been fun. I have not been to a beezz/buzz/stingerzz, game in some time. In fact I think the last time Chone Figgons was playing for them.

Figgons? It has been a while, hasn't it?

Tonight, Brandon Duckworth, the kid out of Kearns High School is starting for Omaha. He's on a rehab assignment from KC. I got to know him from coaching the Babe Ruth all-star team out of the Cottonwood area in the mid 90s.

I enjoy watching the MLB guys during their rehab stints.

Lackey earned a hell of a lot of respect from his teammates in his first start the other night. Rangers pitchers had hit 7 Angels batters so far this year, with zero retaliation. In his first start back, Lackeys first pitch goes behind Kinsler and his 2nd pitch drills him. He is tossed.

His teammates will now have his back for life.

He is pitching again tonight. I sure hope they produce for him. That ranger series was horrific. They need to sweep the M's

Well, they have produced with 8 runs through 6. I just hope it is enough.

Two on, no outs in the 7th. Runners on 2nd and 3rd. Angels failed to get one across the plate. I hope it doesn't bite them in the ass.
