Angels taking a whooping tonight from the ChiSox. 14-3 so far.

Halos struggled mightily last week losing 2 of 3 to both the ChiSox and Seattle. This week they have back to backs against Detroit and Toronto. Time to make a move or fade into wild card status*.

*I know, a little early for this statement. With 162 games I need to motivate myself.

Not exactly great but the Halos managed to end up .500 after the two series last week. Up next are Tampa and San Diego. I am hoping for 2-3 from Tampa and a sweep of SD.

Vlad hitting .253 for the season with 1 home run. He is 34 now so I am not expecting huge numbers from him, but 1 home run?

Hey Junkie, I know we're friends and all but I am thoroughly enjoying the beat down the Angels are putting on the Giants right now. Well, all but Torii Hunter getting injured. CRAP!

Looks like they called up Sean Rodriguez and he went deep. It will be interesting to see if he can figure out MLB pitching this time around. He was tied for the AAA home run lead with Mitch Jones. There's someone who deserves a call up someday. It would be sad if he never played at least one MLB game.

Angels complete sweep of Yankees. They now sit 1 game ahead of Texas, a team they are unable to beat (2-7 this year).

The Angels have the yankees number. they didn't just sweep them....they busted out some major wood against the Yanks this weekend. Those were crazy offensive numbers...and with key players injured!
                      Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

They really enjoyed their stay in Home Run Alley over the weekend. Hopefully, they keep hitting that well without Hunter and Vlad.

Key players still injured and the Angels are 9-1 in the last 10. They sit 3.5 games up in the division and 2 game out for the best record in the AL. Nice come from behind extra innings win tonight against the twins.

Hunter and Vlad still out and Angels stand alone on top of the AL. A Dodger vs Angels battle for SoCal would be a thing of beauty.

                              Angels acquire Kazmir from Rays.
