I want the Spurs to win... but more important I want it to be a game 7 series. I think Miami is just helping the league out by making it interesting.

When Wade has been on the court in the playoffs, the Heat have outscored opponents by 84 points in 593 minutes of action. That's pretty good.

But when he's on the bench? The Heat have gone from pretty good to pretty great, outscoring opponents by 84 points in less than half the time (276 minutes).

The difference becomes much clearer when we control for playing time. According to NBA.com, the Heat have outscored opponents this postseason by an even 8.0 points every 100 possessions with Wade on the floor, but that number swells to a lead of 16.9 points every 100 possessions when he hits the pine.

Yes, the accounting says that the Heat have been 8.9 points better every 100 possessions without Wade on the floor this postseason.

This isn't just an overreaction to Game 2, when the Heat went on a 33-5 run in the second half all while Wade (along with Chris Bosh) was a spectator on the bench. The Wade gulf was just about as wide before Sunday.

Bosh is a 6'11" "center" who plants himself 18 feet away from the basket waiting to receive passes and take open jumpshots. That, in and of itself, is a problem. The least he could do is make a few of those 18 footers.

In the last year or so, I don't know how many times I've heard/read LeBron preaching how bad long two point shots are (either take the three or go to the hoop seems to be his mantra), yet the long two seems to be his go to shot this series. It's baffling.

I'm surprised how often they keep putting Bron in the create role at the type of the court. When he gets the ball and the defense has a chance to set, there is basically zero opportunity for him to get all the way to the hoop. The paint is just packed too tightly and they're cheating too strong toward the lanes. Best adjustment Spoelstra (Riley?) made in the last game was using him in the screener instead of handler role late in the game. Need more of that and postups to shake up the angles. I'd post Wade more too.
