Memphis are morans. 28-3 run to close the game. Adios confidence.

          Can Memphis recover?

What a finish. CP3 had to ask Vinnie to give them a chance, yeah I'm sure they love playing for him.

CP3 sez: "it's a shame to see how we play at the end of the game."

Rudy Gay is an idiot. There's a reason why they went so far in the playoffs without him, obviously he could be a great piece if he played within the offense, but why would you wait on the shot clock like that, and he was pretty crappy with those ISO's anyway.

You wanted them to run offense?

                  Ok.

Name another team in the NBA who doesn't run the same play with their best player in iso for the last shot.

OK, you have a good point about the offense, every team would run an ISO.

However, I don't think San Antonio, Dallas, or other championship teams are going to wait for a buzzer beater hero ball shot. You go for a shot and if you make it? Great, rely on your defense. If you miss it, you can still foul and get the ball back and have another chance. I don't understand why Rudy waited for the final shot at all. I remember when Monta Ellis did it with Golden State earlier in January against the Jazz, and....... he missed it.

Oh, and since I wasn't really paying attention to what I posted before your reply. I was talking about Rudy's game in general over the span of 48 minutes. Too many ISO's and doesn't play within the offense enough.

He's probably the best player at creating their own shot, but sometimes from what I've seen out of Memphis this year, it hurts them. ISO ball has it's place, especially in the clutch, but Rudy seems like a black hole out there at times.

Um...how about the Clippers? Down one, just like Memphis, ran a PnR with Reggie Freaking Evans! And Chris Paul passed it to him.

Imagine if Lebron had done that. The haters would be out in full force.

                            Hey, I already answered that!

The Clips run a flat SnR in the middle of the floor on all their critical possessions. Paul typically uses Jordan or Griffin, but last night they got that nut puncher to nut puncher connection going.
