Yeah, so if they get Battier and Chalmers' normal games and Harden plays like he did prior to this series, then they'll win. It's been a great series and the games have been close. But obviously a few things have to happen in order for the Thunder to win 3 straight -- which apparently has never happened before. Getting back to OKC would be huge and I think the easiest opportunity for the Heat to take the series will be tonight.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Hasn't the home team not won all 3 of these middle games in a row in 20+ years or something?

Miami looks in command right now, but I have a hard time believing it ends tonight.

Well.... there you go. You just sealed it for LBJ & Co. (Just like your CHIII pick.)

BTW... I'm ready for a golf outing when you're available.

No, Detroit did it in 2004 and Miami did it in 2006.

OKC faced a virtual elimination game in Game 3 against the Spurs in the WC Finals and they stepped up. I think they'll do the same thing tonight.

Alright then, never mind that. If you have any other sports trivia type questions I'm available for a discounted rate.

Miami got a huuuge assist from the refs in that series. People cite to that infamous Kings v. Lakers game back in 2002, but there were a 2-3 games in that 2006 Dallas v. Miami series that were really horrific. I'm convinced that Dallas was a better team that year.

Karl Malone, who was actually a solid contributor for the 2004 Lakers, was out of the Finals. Gary Payton became really old overnight. And Kobe was being prosecuted for rape.

Those were the conditions of those two series.

And that's the funny thing, folks felt like Dallas was the better team in 2006, but I felt like Miami was the better team last year. Go figure.

I guess it is more of a "you had to be there" kind of funny? I don't find it humorous.

I just thought the worse team won both of those finals.

I remember when Norris Cole was just a young boy in love with Laura Winslow, and now he's all growed up and knocking down 3s in the NBA finals.

3 on Wade. Yikes. Not sure about that call.

Doesn't look like this thing is going back to OKC.

OKC kind of crapping the bed right now. I'm guessing they will be better for it in the long run.

Well, hard to be comfortable even with a double-digit halftime lead in a championship game. Don't believe me? ask the Ute fans that are old enough to remember the last time Utah won basketball games.
