So is anyone buying this current iteration of the Celtics? Allen's 3 was very clutch and it was an exciting game, but the Celtics are one last-second shot away from being down 2-0. As it is, they have already lost HCA and are headed on the road for the next two.

Is the East weak enough for the Celtics to advance all the way to the ECF anyway? Now that Dwight Howard is hallucinating and making excuses, will the Celtics squeak by them? I think that either way, this current Celtics team is going to get completely destroyed by Cleveland.

Nice game by the Spurs. That was more what I was expecting to see in Game 1.

Powe out for the remainder of the playoffs. The Celtics are done.

Speaking of which, can we just give a pass to the Cavs into the second round? What is the point of this first round series?

Call a damn foul on Yao. They are calling maybe 1 out of every 10 fouls he commits.

Just went to the break and showed the non-call on Yao. He hits Roy with both his body and with his arms on the follow through. What in the Hell is going on.

Maybe the Blazers are soft? Like the Jazz and Junkies' friend's golf shots.

Here is what is going on....no superstars on the Blazers = no calls in the playoffs. Maybe in a few more years, but not now. They are too young to be expecting to get calls against Yao in the playoffs.

Roy is a superstar. He is the 3rd best SG in the NBA behind Bryant and Wade. He has a great ability to drive and draw fouls, but they are not giving him any of those fouls in this series. Roy went to the line over 6 times per game in the regular season and has only gone to the line 2 times in the series, and only 1 time in game 1. He is drawing the same type of contact, but they are protecting Yao and it is pathetic. I'm starting to remember why the NBA is such a sham league.

If Yao fouls a player regardless of the age of the player he fouls, he should be called for the foul.

Yao obviously hooks Oden on the way to the basket and they call a foul on Oden, unbelievable.

At least Portland already had a celebration. Think how sad Jazz players are right now.

Blazers close the 1st quarter on a 10-2 run and take the lead 28-26.

Oh and I think Kevin Durrant is as good as Roy, maybe better.

Sure if you like one-dimensional offensive players who are awful on the defensive end. No way in Hell is Durant better than Roy as an overall player. Durant is a better scorer, Roy is better at everything else.

You were doing all that bitching about a 2 point game in the first quarter? You need to take a valium.

Roy is awesome and an up and comer. He is still too green to be getting calls over more seasoned players.

Playoffs are an entirely different animal. If you are frustrated now, wait and see if the Blazers make it to the second round and start playing the Lakers. You will have a brainburst.

But apparently Shane Battier gets calls. Rockets in the bonus in less than 4 minutes into the 2nd half.

At least you can admit the NBA is a sham.
