Hmmm...I'm not sure the guy you get at 3 is any better than the guy you get at 6. I also don't know who I would say is better between Matthews and Blatche. That said, at 3, your chances of getting the guy you want most are better, so in my mind, it's a no-brainer for Portland.Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostInteresting rumor...Andray Blatche and the #3 pick to Portland for Wesley Matthews and the #6 pick.I'm like LeBron James.

I agree that Portland should make the trade. Both players are mediocre at best and both have bad contracts. The bad contract of Blatche is only slightly larger than Matthews bad contract.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostHmmm...I'm not sure the guy you get at 3 is any better than the guy you get at 6. Washington is in need of a SG, so Matthews would certainly fill that need, and they'd get something for Blatche instead of having to amnesty him. At 6 they could then take Harrison Barnes, who it seems they like more than the others but probably isn't great value at #3 (weird, I know). There seems to be momentum building for Beal being the next best player in the draft instead of MKG, so perhaps the Zards think if they can't land Beal at #3 they should move back.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostHmmm...I'm not sure the guy you get at 3 is any better than the guy you get at 6. I still like Thomas Robinson and MKG, but admittedly don't know a lot about Beal."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

You don't want to rely on Wes Matthews as your SG. He is far too inconsistent to be a starter in the NBA.Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostWashington is in need of a SG, so Matthews would certainly fill that need, and they'd get something for Blatche instead of having to amnesty him. https://twitter.com/DraftExpress/sta...08168556068866If Kings fans didn't need another reason not to jump off a cliff, there's lots of chatter Sac is considering passing on Barnes for Lillard.
If there is any truth to that, the Kings clearly don't think much of Fredette. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

It seems to me like momentum is building for TRob to go #2. If I'm Washington, I take my chances with Beal at #3 rather than Matthews. That said, if they like Barnes, they might as well make the trade and take Barnes at 6.Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostWashington is in need of a SG, so Matthews would certainly fill that need, and they'd get something for Blatche instead of having to amnesty him. I think a lineup of Wall, Beal, Ariza, Nene and Okafor could be fun and potentially pretty good.I'm like LeBron James.

The Kings should do whatever is necessary to get MKG. He's a perfect fit on a team with a bunch of chucker wings who don't play any defense. Barnes is just another inefficient chucker who is mediocre defensively. Just a terrible fit on that team.Originally posted by mpfunk View Posthttps://twitter.com/DraftExpress/sta...08168556068866

Rumors of an insane trade where Kings give up Tyreke and the #5 for Lowry and the #14 and 16. No chance in hell any NBA GM considers pulling the trigger on that for the Kings. I can think of about 25 teams in the NBA who would gladly make a better offer than that to the Kings.

Hollinger said Charlotte had so little salary committed so far for 2013-14 that they had to take significant money on to meet the salary floor any way. Seems like an odd thing to say since the team has more than a year to hand out salaries or make other trades to get to that point if it ever came to that.
I doubt Detroit makes the playoffs, so I don't think Charlotte will be getting the first round pick in 2013.
Seems to solidify Thomas Robinson as the pick for Charlotte at #2. He pairs well with Biyombo.
Edit: Didn't realize that Gordon has been over 40% in 3pt shooting in all but one of his years in the NBA, and that he's been over 85% from the FT line in all but one year. He'll be a great add to a team on his next contract at a lower price.Last edited by BGRTHNUMEGO; 06-26-2012, 08:26 PM.

He's an undersized shooting guard who is an overrated shooter in my opinion. I don't understand why he's projected to go so early. I wouldn't spend a top 10 pick on him. Maybe he'll prove me wrong but I think the kid is a bust.Originally posted by FN Phat View PostBeal has a sweet stroke and I think would be a great fit with Wall."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I like Beal quite a bit, but it's hard to defend my position. He is undersized and he didn't prove to be a good shooter this past season. 45% FGs and 34% 3pt is not good.Originally posted by Surfah View PostHe's an undersized shooting guard who is an overrated shooter in my opinion. I think I like him because he's a very good athlete, and while short, he's long and plays big (7 rpg) and despite the poor shooting he looks to have a pretty stroke. But again, from a production standpoint, outside of rebounding he did little to warrant a top 5 pick.I'm like LeBron James.
