pretty bad. There will be a brawl at some point durring the season if that isn't cleaned up but I am sure that is what fatty with the goat is hoping for. Players that suck resort to that shit. It is clear that the Eagles suck.
Either #34 is the biggest jackhole ever or he has no concept of how to play basketball.
It's probably a combination of both, actually.
both. He probably plays DL or OL for his pathetic HS football team. He has some size so the coach asks him to come out for the basketball team. He is horrible and knows it, but he has some weight to throw around so he is out there getting owned. His frustration mounts and reaches a breaking point. Then he does the only thing he knows how to do...tackle.
The kid is a dickhead and the fact that his coach is not keeping him under control is pathetic.
#2 and #6 were not flagrant fouls at all. Number 5 was vicious, also when they subbed out 34 the kid coming in was even fatter.
What kind of team is that?
I had pretty much the same thoughts. 2 and 6 were just really hard fouls. The rest were flagrant fouls and the 5th one should have got the kid kicked out and a multiple game suspension.

#3 and #5 were the only two that I took issue. #1 was a hard foul, #2 wasn't even excessive, #4 was intentional, but not necessarily flagrant, #6 was the same.

I guess the guy took the video of the game because of this team's propensity to foul like this but also to show the ineptitude of the officials who have refused to acknowledge the flagrant play.
Here's some responses from the kid's coach, their AD, and a Tri-Cities area official:

Vanderbilt has taken the negative attention to heart, but his team has rallied to support him, said Connell coach Oscar Garza.
"He's a tough kid, but those that know him know he's a teddy bear," Garza said. "My 7-year-old son loves him and lights up when he's around. But on (YouTube) he's the world's meanest, ugliest kid. It's not fair, but I just want him to know his teammates and coaches are behind him."

David Pierce, a 30-year veteran of the Tri-Cities Sports Officials Association, took issue with Christenson's contention, saying the referees did their job during the game.
"There were no problems and no fights. It's getting painted as flagrant fouls or intentional fouls, but it doesn't have anything to do with that," Pierce said. "The guy took a camera and jaded it. He didn't show the whole game. He showed six plays."
I am surprised that the players kept their cool. My HS basketball team would have been brawling. Shoot our volleyball team threw down for less.
We had a bench clearing brawl my Junior year. One of our players threw the ball in the face of a guy that did number 5 to him and choas erupted. The game was forfitted by both teams due to everyone on both sides getting ejected. I am shocked that there was not a fight.
Obviously the fat kid is not athletic or coordinated at all. I think most of the fouls are just because he is not only has a brick for a brain, but the rest of him is built that way too. So when he swats at the ball and hits the player the results are more obvious.
I would've given #4 some consideration for giving the kid a T - I don't mind fouls that come from a little bumping and pushing, but a full on shove to send the kid across the floor is uncalled for. He isn't stopping a scoring play or fighting for a rebound at that point, it's just poor sportsmanship because he did a piss poor job of securing the rebound.
#5 was uncalled for and could get someone hurt.
If I'm the coach of the team getting beat up - at some point I would feel like pulling the ref aside and offering some simple friendly advice. I'd just tell him that some of what is going on has no place in a basketball game, it's his job as the guy with the whistle to manage the game, and that he'll want to make sure his liability insurance is paid up for when some kid gets seriously hurt and the parents sue.

Yeah, if they don't get a handle on that, it could easily lead to fights in the stands also.
Unreal.
