Any prediction? I doubt any real discount and I bet it comes in around $125 for the full season.
How does anyone have time for league pass? I suppose if you don't live in your team's local market, you might want it.

To be honest, I no longer do it because I get more than enough games with ESPN, TNT, local and NBAtv. But if you live outside of your market, it is fabulous. It is also cool if you live back east and be able to watch games late into the night (after midnight) with all the west coast games.

Since only about 40 Lakers games get televised nationally, I need it to watch the other 42.

OK, so what are the chances the Orlando or NO can get a better deal for CP3 or Dwight than Utah and Denver got for Carmelo and DWill last year? Not looking good right now. Sad, considering that CP3 and Dwight are so much more valuable than Carmello.

What's the best offer you've heard of? NJ offing Brooke Lopez and a couple 1st round picks for Dwight? Please. Any team with Dwight is in the playoffs. The Jazz picked up Favors, Kanter and Harris. Slim chance of this deal happening.

NBA changing "continuation rules" so there won't be as many shooting fouls called. This is great, if they really do make the change. I hate continuation.

Back to the CP3 lotery. If you are OKC, aren't you offering up Westbrook and Harden for Paul? If you are NO, isn't that the best offer you've heard? OKC might be tempted to make it Westbrook and Ibaka.

I think I like Westbrook better than Rondo and Curry. Definitely like him better than Gordon. Is there a personality problem with Westbrook?

The personality problem is that he doesn't know his role.

                    I disagree with that.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Kevin Durant had 41 points in Game 1 and is the league’s two-time scoring champ, but when it came time for the big shot in Sunday's Game 1 win by the Thunder, it was Russell Westbrook who took it. In fact, Westbrook used the last five possessions for the Thunder, with four shot attempts and a turnover, even though a torrid Durant was 13-of-22 from the floor.

That seems terribly puzzling at first, unless you watched what took place off the ball. Oklahoma City had plays designed for Durant to get the ball from Westbrook, but he never get anywhere near it thanks to opponents’ strategy of walling him off the ball in those situations, using superior strength to prevent Durant from breaking free.

“At the end of the game they like to hug Kevin,” said Westbrook, “and grab and hold him, so sometimes I have to be able to create a shot for myself if Kevin can’t get the ball. I definitely try to get it to him but when I can’t I have to get a shot myself.”

Durant, for all his offensive skills, is one of the weaker players at his position physically, and that’s something opponents try to take advantage of by muscling him away from the play.

I'm slightly disappointed that they didn't break down his initial reaction to the dunk. If you watch closely, you can see Simmons go full-on 1920's prize fighter with both arms raised above his head before the one arm fist pump.

The Heat add Shane Battier and Eddy Curry. Getting older and fatter is always a solid strategy for improvement.

Oden accepts the $9 M qualifying offer.

                                LA-NO-HOU rumors:

                                LA gets Paul

                                HOU gets Gasol

NO gets Scola, Buddinger, Patterson, multiple first round picks

Better deal maybe for NO than some other ideas. But why would Houston do that? I agree with Jacob...OKC and NO should be talking about Westbrook/Harden for Paul. Helps both teams, and playing next to Durant/Ibaka likely enough to keep Paul around.
