Thank you, Bill Simmons. You've pretty much been regurgitating his standpoint through this entire process, so I'm not surprised at this response.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Why is it not true that he was not a good gm?

I don't know if he was a good GM, but, if he is running this thing, he seems to be doing a better job than Mr. Demps was. So if we are grading on the curve...

How on earth is he doing a better job? They have had two good trades on the hook that would have helped them stay viable and get something in return and you can guarantee that the package will get less attractive from here. Not good for the Hornets or the league.

I'll make no such guarantee. Maybe we wait for the final result before making a final judgement? The proposed deals have only gotten better so far.

I agree that it is best to wait.

I didn't read Simmons part 2 essay until today. But whatever. Don't you have some more whiny emails to send off Dan Gilbert?

He was terrible and anyone that follows the NBA knows that. He's being purposefully obtuse like always.

Who was he the GM for? I follow the NBA almost religiously (I spend significantly more time following the NBA than going to church etc.) but I never knew he was a GM.

I just wanted to hear his rationale.

Dan has given me his email account access. It was actually me who sent that email to Stern. It's no surprise that it's only Laker fans and national media who are irate at Stern's actions. Pretty much everybody else thinks Stern's move was prudent.

Show me where I said he was a good GM and I'll answer your question. Since you can't, I won't.

Sign and trade I assume, or will Sterling just hope he sticks it out with the Clips come summer?
