    Isn't if fairly common for this to happen in nearly ANY sport?

    March Madness - a team riding a hot streak goes a LONG ways and can knock out a much better team.

    NBA playoffs - a team riding a hot streak....

    NFL playoffs - a team riding a hot streak...etc...etc...etc...

    What about NCAA football - how do you feel about situations where a team loses their first game due to some fluke, then totally gels and is obviously much better than any other team in the land. Yet the teams above them are the ones going to the BCS title game because they haven't lost, so they get to stay in the tops of the polls.

    Playoffs in ANY sport is all about coming together and playing your best ball at the right time. You don't want to peak too early...you don't want to peak too late.

                                I disagree only because Freese has the number of the Texas pitching staff. Feldman just got too cute on the 3-2 pitch and tried to hit the corner rather than throw a strike.
