The over the back calls in this game have been ridiculous.

Bron was awesome through the first three rounds while Wade mostly struggled. The Finals has been something of a flip. Bron feels downright invisible in this game. He basically swings it every time he's touched it in the 2nd half.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

He was horrid in the 1st half but has been pretty decent in the second. I think he was 2-8 at the break, which puts him at 5-10 in the 2nd. And I think all his FT attempts have been in the 2nd half as well.Originally posted by Surfah View PostAvatar has been struggling all night but comes up big there. So Russell...what do you love about music? If history holds true, he'll have to wait for another shot. Since going to the 2-3-2 format ('85) the winner of game 3 has won every finals series. I'm hoping the mavs can break the streak.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostDarn. I don't think I've wanted anyone to win a ring as much as I want Dirk to get one now since, well, probably John and Karl."You interns are like swallows. If Cuban spends the money they could be great again next year. But Butler, Chandler, Barea, and Stevenson are all free agents.Originally posted by fusnik View PostAnother fun game. These playoffs have been fantastic.
I feel for Dirk because if they dont win this series I see his window slamming shut.
They can lose Barea or Stevenson and be fine because Beaubois will be ready next year. But they've got to bring Chandler and Butler back.

During the regular season the Heat shot 10 more free throws/game than the Mavs, and the two teams played at about the same pace. So far in the finals the Mavs are shooting 4 more FTs/game than the Heat. That is a huge turnaround.
Dallas has done a good job all year of not fouling much (27th in the NBA in fouls committed) but their opponents shot 22 FTA/gm while Miami's opponents shot 24.
Tonight the refs just stunk. Glad the game still turned out exciting.

Well, I guess my hopes of Dirk saving the NBA will not happen. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression
