I don't watch much MLS, but KC's goalie looks less than athletic.

Fun final match, even if RSL loses. That no look from Beckerman was nasty, and the finish by Sabo was even better.

The MLS Cup is on display here at work. I should go get my picture taken with it, too bad it isn't on display at the campus I work at, I'm tempted to make the 20 minute drive at lunch anyway. One of the advantages of working at a place started by 2 of the Sporting KC owners. Nielsen's stop on that 8th PK was legendary, and that no look pass by Beckerman was amazing. I can't imagine a more evenly matched game. Good game RSL.
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

He was really off all game. He came up clutch in the shootout though.

RSL fans, what's the deal with Kreis? Why wouldn't he be re-signed by the club? He's clearly one of the best coaches out there, right?
On the postgame after Saturday's game, one of the KALL 700 guys said he thinks--can't recall if his exact phrase was "he thinks" or if it was "he's heard"--Kreis isn't happy about something that happened when Hansen took over ownership earlier this year.

Interesting. Sounds like they need to give him a great deal. They can't afford to lose him, IMO.

Last night KSL played comments from some players and Lagerwey, and based on what they were saying/reading between the lines, I really doubt he's sticking around.
I heard a rumor somewhere that he's been offered big money to go to a larger market.
Would be nice to keep him - but when you hear that RSL is competing with a payroll that is a third that of some of the other teams - I can't blame him for wanting to be somewhere that he has something better to work with.

It's the expansion team in NYC that starts play in 2015. I'm pretty sure that's where he's headed.

He's been offered the job coaching the New York expansion team - per an article in the SL Trib I just read.
