That doesn't work on me. I hate the 49ers.

    • Kap played a hell of a game. Flacco did too. But Kap looks special.
      I'm like LeBron James.

In the entire world only a few Utefans think that Alex Smith is better. They're embarassing the rest of us.

Congrats to Haloti, Gnata, Ma'ake, and Dennis!
          It's actually Ngata. I'm a 9ers fan but I like Maoris.

Close, but they were Utah guys during those games.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

But, I guess we gotta send Ray Ray out the right way, just like we did Bettis.
I think the defender let go of the receiver just in time so it had to be a no call in that situation. The timing was awesome. One of the best defensive plays I've ever seen. It's one reason I miss watching the NBA. Sometimes it's nice to see it done to absolute perfection.

I saw that but figured you were so excited about the Raven's win.
                  Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Even as a Niners fan, I think it was probably a good non-call. I agree that had he released even a couple tenths of a second later, it gets the flag, but in that situation it was just a great play. There were a couple other questionable calls or noncalls, but in the end I have to tip my cap to the Ravens' defense. Baltimore deserved the win.

I have to think the NFL is going to schedule these teams fairly early on next season.

                    • I was sort of cheering for the Ravens, but everyone else at our house was all-in for the Niners. My son's friend took it really hard. I am thinking we might want to put him on suicide watch tonight.

                      • I've been wondering if older brothers who grew up in male sibling rivalry situations trended more toward cheering for the Ravens. Could be a good subject for a dissertation.

I'm a younger brother, but I provincialism trumps birth order when it comes to my preference in this game. Despite sadness at my team's first Super Bowl loss, one has to feel a bit of gladness for the big brother winning this one. After all, Jim beat out his older brother for the starting QB spot in high school (John was a senior, Jim was a soph) and throughout their lives has had the more stellar career, at least until now.

Yes, this was a great Super Bowl for all lovers of irony. Jim has definitely been the fair haired child. It reminds me of George W. and Jeb.

                            • My reasons for pulling for the Ravens tonight.

                              1. Pitta
                              2. My auntie and uncle are Ravens season tickets holders and were at the game
                              3. The older Harbaugh is less douchey

                              That was pretty much it.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
