There are 80,000 seats in the New Cowboys face value of tickets average around $900. That's 72million. Now Think about the luxury boxes. Not too much to assume $15 million boxes. Now throw in parking and concessions. That is one heck of a payday.

On KJR in Seattle yesterday one of the hosts made about a 45 minute explanation about how some website predicted there would be $5,000,000 in concessions for the SB.
He was screaming and yelling, kept repeating the same thing over and over. I imagine Surf and Scot Van Pelt would love the show. I'll try and find a streaming link!Get confident, stupid

I always think about this kind of stuff. I'll go to any sports game and think about what the income statement looks like. I've been working with the NBA lately and the income off that revenue you mention is quite a bit less. The league takes a certain percentage of the ticket sales. Does Jerry own the stadium outright or is it leased? If leased, he'll only get about 30% of the concession and parking revenues, but perhaps he owns.Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View Post
