If the trade was made, I think it'd be Earl Watson + lottery protected pick from Utah.
Because of Jimmer's popularity in Utah and the possibility of him being better in a different system, a non-lottery pick is probably worth it for Utah. But his play hasn't justified a lottery pick, so I don't think they move the GS pick.
And then it helps Sacramento save face to get Watson so they can say, "We wanted a veteran PG to come in and help our young team, and to tutor Thomas", as well as getting a first round pick. They won't move Jimmer for much less just one year after using the 10th pick on him.Comment

Jimmer will sell tickets -- at least for the first 10 games. People knew Jimmer was going to let the shots fly no matter what halfway through his second game and it never really slowed down. He shot just 35.8 percent throughout the week and made a lot of folks giggle whenever they saw him on the posters and murals around the arena.

Jimmer sells tickets and merchandise..
As someone in Sacramento, the Kings will most likely give Jimmer another year or half season to see what he can do. His minutes will be tough this year with all the Kings guard, etc.... His confidence was shattered last year as well, as the NBA game is much faster as we all know.
I am told by Kings officials that he is the most popular player by far and the PR requests when they are on the road is in the hundreds per city. He sells tickets and gear because of his college legacy and will for a couple more years. Plus, he's just a good kid, which we all know too.
Lastly, I am the proud owner of the "J. Fredette" name board used in the 2011 NBA draft on TV. Recently got it thru an NBA auction...Jimmer!Comment
