    R.I.P. Andy Irons

Not sure where to post this thread, but I haven't seen it discussed anywhere else. Dengue Fever shockingly claimed the life of one of surfing's greats today:

Here's one of the sickest lefts I've seen:

    Rest in peace, Andy.

Clearly you respect him more than Surfah. Surfah obviously does not look at surfing as a sport since he put his post about Irons in the Back Fence.

Whoa crazy. He appeared at a demo in HB at the pier several years ago. I went not to see him but to see his wife Lyndie. Rowrrr!

That is sad. He is an icon. He was young, dang.
        Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

He deserves respect. And since 90% of the board is a bunch of string pullers I thought I'd post it where they'd see it.

Dengue Fever ran wild in my mission at one point. I think around half the missionaries in my mission got this one summer while I was serving. it was a pretty nasty illness. It put many of them in the hospital for a few days. I remember it caused one of the missionaries face to swell up like Martin Shorts did when he was stung by a bee in Pure Luck.
